Veterinary Assistant
Responsibilities:
-Ability to maintain a clean & organized work space
- Must be punctual & responsible
- Help other assistant complete daily task & chores in clinic
- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate records of client information and pet medical history
- Assist veterinarians and other technicians by properly restraining patients
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
-Accurately and efficiently prepare prescription labels, medications and dispense prescriptions.
Qualifications:
- Formal college-level veterinary technician training and previous veterinary experience are both definitely preferred, but we will also be more than happy to train a customer service oriented, energetic person with no previous experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic computer systems and software
- Passion for working with animals and providing compassionate care

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
