Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing care for animals
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, grooming, and bathing
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests and collect samples for analysis
- Clean and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter, is preferred
- Knowledge of animal physiology and behavior
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Attention to detail to accurately record information and follow instructions from veterinarians
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
