Amberglen Pet Care is a newly established clinic in the Hillsboro, Oregon area and we would love to add you to our team! We are opening February 2024 and are looking for motivated, passionate and dynamic individuals to be a part of something new and special. You will have a unique opportunity to help build our brand, our clinic culture as well as help bring quality care to pets and their families. We can’t wait to build the business together from the ground up!
What sets us apart from other hospitals? We want to provide a positive, nurturing environment for team members first, as we believe a happy and engaged team will provide exceptional client experience and care for the pets that we care so deeply about. Veterinary medicine is hard – between the angry clients and pets it's important that we support one another through not only the hard times but also the good. The Clear Blueprint certification was developed by the “Not One More Vet” movement to provide guidelines and resources for veterinary hospitals for workplace wellbeing. We plan on becoming certified as soon as possible after opening.
We also care about the wellbeing of our clients and patients, and plan to certify Amberglen Pet Care hospital to be Fear Free and a Cat Friendly Certified practice as soon as possible. If not already certified, the first level of the Fear Free Certification course is required upon hire and paid for by the hospital.
We practice with Gold Standard medicine, which will include AAHA certification as soon as possible after opening. Our focus will mainly be general practice with wellness, internal medicine cases, dermatology, urgent care and routine surgeries. Dr Burris has a passion for pocket pets so we will be offering services to them as well as cats and dogs. We're looking for a Veterinary Assistant who's ready to roll up their sleeves and join us in creating something truly special.
