Veterinary Assistant

Cat Care Professionals is looking to add to our amazing team! We are searching for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to help us grow our feline-only general practice.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday-Friday with a flexible 4/10 or 5/8 schedule!

• Skilled Veterinary Assistant with 3+ years of hands-on experience
• Friendly, enthusiastic team players with strong interpersonal skills, who share our commitment to creating a positive team culture while providing exceptional patient care
• Individuals committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training
• Willing to practice Fear Free techniques

Some of the responsibilities for this role:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over the counter sales and financial transactions
• Gentle handling and restraint
• Venipuncture and placing IV catheters
• Administrating injections and medications
• Anesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance
• Dental prophy
• Laboratory and pharmacy duties

Full-time benefits and compensation

• $18.00 - $22.00/hr. based on experience and skillset
• Bonus Package: $500 for vet assistants with 3+ years of current experience
