Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and treatments
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Clean and maintain the reception area, exam rooms, and other areas of the clinic
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques, equine care, animal husbandry, or dog training is a plus
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care, practice management software, animal catheterization, or kennel operations is beneficial
