The EDD Workforce Services Branch (WSB) is seeking candidates to apply for a Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) position in the Veteran's Program Unit within the Central Office Workforce Services Division. Working as an analyst, you'll be part of a diverse and passionate team helping our fellow Californians get back to work. You'll utilize your problem solving skills for creative solutions in the workforce system. You'll provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The AGPA will serve as the Central Office Veteran Program Support Liaison (VPSL) and be the Single Point of Contact liaison for EDD Central Office Workforce Services Division, Veterans Program Unit (COWSD/VPU) between the field Veteran Program Support Specialist (VPSS), Division Chiefs (DC), Deputy Division Chiefs (DDC), and Field Veterans Program Managers (VPM). The VPSL will provide guidance, technical analysis, and support to: the Field VPSS, Division Management team, DDC, Field Office Managers, and Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) program in the Veterans' Program Unit (VPU) to ensure integrity and efficiency of the various JVSG programs and related activities.
This position requires some in-state and overnight travel; occasional out of state travel required.

Working Conditions
This position requires some in-state and overnight travel; occasional out of state travel required.
The position is located at 722 Capitol Mall in the heart of downtown Sacramento within walking distance to light rail, farmer's market during the summer months, the Golden 1 Center, the California State Capitol, historical Old Sacramento and an eclectic collection of retailers, restaurants, food trucks and entertainment venues. Electric bike and scooter rentals and commuter bus access are readily available.
