Zinnia Health’s nationwide behavioral health facilities provide comprehensive, tailored treatment services to individuals so they may understand and manage the symptoms of their addictions and co-occurring disorders.


Zinnia Health is currently focused on building veteran specific programs within the state of California in support of a population often underserved; therefore, we are seeking a Clinical Director within the SUD/MH professional arena who is either a former Veteran themself and/or comes with a great deal of expertise and unique knowledge in treating veterans, first responders, etc. Candidate must possess a current and valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology), as well as a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant clinical field.

What We're Looking For:

The primary purpose of our Clinical Director is to provide clinical oversight of our Substance Abuse & Mental Health Veterans programs. The Clinical Director provides consultation and, directly or indirectly, clinical supervision of all non-medical clinical staff. You will be responsible for the design of non-medical treatment protocols in the Substance Abuse programs.

Supervision will focus on the timeliness and efficacy of services, as well problem-solving with personnel to ensure that consumers are receiving quality services. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of all Clinical Assessments, Diagnostic Assessments, and outpatient services in the Substance Abuse veterans’ program to ensure best practices. This position will report directly to the Executive Director.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the clinical services provided at the treatment facility.
  • Lead and supervise a team of licensed clinicians, counselors, and support staff.
  • Supervision and documentation of supervision for all unlicensed staff members providing services to clients.
  • Provides oversight for crisis issues.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall treatment experience.
  • Conduct regular assessments of treatment effectiveness and adjust as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Substance Abuse treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant clinical field
  • Current and valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology)
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a Substance Abuse treatment setting
  • An acute understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug addiction-related problems.
  • A knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.
  • Working knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illnesses.
  • In-depth understanding of co-occurring Mental Health disorders and their appropriate treatments/interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse clinical team.
  • Understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive treatment environment.

Salary Range: $110 – 140K range – competitive based on experience.
