Vendor Compliance Analyst

Analytical Food Laboratories (AFL), part of Tentamus Group, is seeking a Vendor Compliance (VC) Analysts to process food and beverage samples within the Test Kitchen and complete the required analysis per client's request.

We use proven methods of chemistry, microbiology, sensory studies and more performed at our 22,000 sq. ft high-tech food testing Grand Prairie facility. How you will contribute:

• Analyze food samples for various quantitative, qualitative, and sensory attributes based on standardized procedure following GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Use equipment such as a balance, caliper, viscometer, pH meter and water activity meter to evaluate physical and chemical quality of a food product.
• Maintain accurate data records of food within Excel, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and testing equipment software.
• Ensure housekeeping tasks are completed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Report all non-conformances of food testing to VC Manager.
• Perform other laboratory testing duties as necessary or assigned by VC Manager.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition or Food Science
• 3 years in food/beverage industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory preferred.
