New England Airfoil Products is looking for a high potential manufacturing engineer to join our team in this period of growth. Our manufacturing engineers are responsible for both the development of manufacturing process for new product and improvement of existing product lines.
Value Stream Manager
Purpose/Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Value Stream Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.
This position will manage indirectly members of production, quality, engineering and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Under limited supervision):
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of production plans.
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all employees.
- Manage inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize lead times.
- Drive initiatives for waste reduction, process optimization, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
