POSITION SUMMARY
Valley Charter Elementary is seeking Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support our students for the 2023-2034 school year. TAs will work with one classroom and also supervise students on the yard and during lunch. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Please do not apply if you can not work those exact hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the classroom teacher with activities and lessons
Work with students individually or in small groups.
Supervise students during recess and lunch.
Assist the teacher by making copies, organizing materials, and preparing for lessons
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be working on or have completed their Bachelor's degree
This is a great job for an aspiring teacher.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Pay is $20/hour
$23/hour with a sub credential
