This position is responsible for catching, herding, and vaccinating the turkeys, providing for the health and wellbeing of the turkeys and maintain the cleanliness of barns and equipments.

- Efficiently catch 1000-1500 turkeys per shift.
- Efficiently vaccinate 1000-1500 turkeys per shift
- Ensure right vaccine is being used
- Efficiently herd turkeys.
- Efficiently load and unload turkeys weighing anywhere from 5lbs-85lbs
- Wash and disinfect turkey production facilities and equipment in a safe and organized
manner.
- Authorized employees will be required to drive a company vehicle (must pass MVR)
- Follow all of the company’s rules and regulations for bio security, animal welfare and
safety.
- Work productively in a team environment and be willing to help in any area to get the jo
done.
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Have the ability to push, bend, stoop, squat, pull and lift 5lbs-30lbs continuously
- Successfully work with live animals.
- Organize and prioritize responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform the duties of the job while constantly moving and using hands, occasionally lifting
heavy objects while being exposed to dust, cold, humidity, heat, chemicals and fumes.
- Work an extended work day, if needed.
Principal Accountabilities:
1.Sanitize and disinfect turkey production facilities and equipment.
2.Effective time management.
3.Use various tools and follow protocols to disinfect equipment and facilities.
4.Repair and/or direct the repair of the equipment as needed.
5.Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
6.Schedule varies depending on the farm/department. Some weekends arerequired.
7.Work on various farms if required.
8.Have excellent hand-eye coordination.
9.Follow all company regulations pertaining to bio security, animal welfare andsafety.
10.Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.•Prior experience in poultry preferred.•A valid Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle driving recordpreferred.•Bi-lingual Spanish speaking skills a plus.

Pay: $15.67 - $15.79 per hour
