Java/AWS Web Application Developer – User Interface/User Experience Emphasis

SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled User Interface Developer to design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. The role requires experience and demonstrated success in the development of cloud-based web applications. Demonstrated success in understanding and providing an intuitive user experience is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a focus on cloud-native solutions using AWS tools and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop responsive web interfaces that work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
• Utilize AWS tools and services to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure smooth user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, or other computer-related degree
• 5+ years' relevant experience developing web-based applications.
• 5+ years' relevant experience in cloud-computing environments.
• Proven experience as a User Interface Developer or Front-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and Cognito.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to Communications, both oral and written.
