Our Location: This position is remote, home office based in specifically approved states of employment. Approved States: Washington, Texas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, Massachusetts, Illinois, Indiana, and Idaho. Job Vision: Cutter & Buck is looking to add a dynamic UX Sr Designer to our Software Development Team who will establish UX processes and execute this designs for internal customers, Cutter & Buck and New Wave Group NA entities. A successful candidate will be thoughtful, empathetic, and experienced with extensive knowledge of UX best practices and hands-on experience with interaction/visual design, information architecture, user research and UX strategy. This job is an individual contributor role and a member of the IT Web Development team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across disciplines to wear many UX hats and be responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping, presenting and delivering a variety of UX deliverables (personas, flows, research plans, test scripts, low and hi-fidelity mockups.)
Our UX Sr Designer is accountable to refine apps, software and websites, used by both employees and B2B/Wholesale customers, with the aim of creating products that people find easy to use and that meet Cutter & Buck’s goals.
Responsibilities include the review and analysis of business specifications with cross functional business stakeholders on he creation and maintenance of functional specs, and close coordination with Business Analysis to bring executive vision to life. The C&B UX Sr Designer is an integral part of the product lifecycle, from translation of business spec to Figma (or similar), collection, analysis and presentation of research and feedback; collaboration with the developers to find the most effective, expedient and efficient way to implement solutions; maintaining consistent branding & tuning executive vision. As our UX Sr Designer, you are an expert in the field of business translation from leadership & marketing to developer needs, advocate for best practices and implement business design into functional development specification while maintaining quality branding across platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and document a UX process for the New Wave US organization – including but not limited to establishing protocols, documentation, communication and execution.
- Evaluate existing sites & products for usability and make enhancement recommendations; implement enhancements and full execution.
- Enhance the mobile experience of Cutter & Buck B2B platform
- Build business specifications from stakeholders in Figma
- Translate through out organization – business needs to developers, developers to stakeholders, train users.
- Work with clients & colleagues to plan & implement new UX projects
- Maintain consistent branding across platforms in alignment with Executive Director of Customer Experience & Exec team

- Develop personas, user stories & other resources to capture users’ needs
