Your expertise will guide our product design and development process, ensuring that we create intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful healthcare products that address the needs of our diverse user base.
Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative user research studies to gain comprehensive insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Identify appropriate research methods, such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic studies, and apply them effectively to answer critical product-related questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, engineers, and community engagement managers to integrate research findings into the product development process.
  • Develop user personas based on research findings to represent the diverse user groups and their distinct preferences, goals, and challenges.
  • Create compelling narratives and visual representations of user personas to aid the design and development teams in empathizing with the end-users.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that user needs are always at the forefront of decision-making.
  • Analyze research data, employing both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques, to derive actionable insights and inform product improvements.
  • Translate research findings into clear and actionable recommendations, presenting them to stakeholders and facilitating decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and best practices in user experience research and design within the healthcare technology sector.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to identify strengths and weaknesses of competing products and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with other research and design teams to share knowledge, methodologies, and insights to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications
  • Preferred but not required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, User Experience Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) facilitating user experience research initiatives for digital products, ideally within the healthcare, medical, or consumer technology domain.
  • Strong understanding in various user research tools and methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization techniques to derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and their application in the development of intuitive user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies preferred.
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience research and design.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
