Job Description
David Yurman is seeking a UX Designer with proven experience in delivering luxury ecommerce digital products that are both beautiful and functional. As the UX Designer, reporting to our Senior UX Designer, you will collaborate with the business, design, and development teams to deliver both interaction and visual designs, blending user needs and business vision. This role requires an ability to think about long term vision, while also delivering a keen attention to detail. In this role, you will make immediate and long-lasting impacts to both the customer experience and business outcomes of DY.com.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and facilitate working sessions to understand business goals and user opportunities.
- Expert ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to deliver on customer and business goals.
- Partner with your manager to influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies.
- Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that meet project goals. Consider scope and technical constraints when necessary.
- Deliver beautiful designs; collaborate with visual designers to build an experience that adheres to DY Design Standards and brand guidelines.
- Produce briefs, prototypes, comps, user flows, wireframes and key documentation for developer collaboration and handoff.
- Influence the ecommerce development roadmap.
- Execute extensive user acceptance testing to deliver a product that is friction free and seamless.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product design or UX
- Experience designing within the luxury e-commerce space
- Understanding of design systems, hierarchy, typography, visual design, responsiveness, accessibility, iconography, and interaction design
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma
- Available portfolio highlighting multiple projects and direct contributions
- Proficient in communicating direction, design principles, and design specifications for a flawless developer handoff
Education: BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related areas of study required.

Estimated Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000
