As the UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our robotic systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and robotics specialists. Your expertise in UX design will be instrumental in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the usability and functionality of our robotic products.
Duties and Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with product lead, software engineers, and other robotics specialists to define UX requirements and ensure alignment with product goals and user needs.
• Design and create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate UX concepts and gather feedback.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to continuously improve the user experience of our robotic systems.
• Establish and enforce UX design guidelines, ensuring consistency across our product portfolio.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in UX design, and incorporate them into our design processes.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of UX designs.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• The employee will also be frequently required to stand.
• The employee must frequently lift, push, or pull equipment at a minimum of 15 pounds unassisted.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to climb ladders, maneuver in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and in industrial environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

In this job, you will be required to travel to customer or testing sites as needed. Conditions may include exposure to heat, cold, rain, loud environments, small vessel maritime conditions, and 12-hour shifts.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing and or lab areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory
hearing protection.
