Crawford Group is seeking a UX and Visual Designer to join our client's team. The role is leading UX and Visual Design for the redesign of one of the company's flagship product marketing websites. The project is a B2B SaaS research and data platform marketing website (not the product itself) that relies heavily on content to deliver the client's value prop in the form of research reports, analysis, news, etc. Strong comparable experience is highly desired!
Portfolio Needs: Showcase artifacts from across the project lifecycle. Your representative projects may include, but should not be limited to: research, personas, sketches, site maps, task flows, wireframes, complete theme styles, deliverable UI designs, etc.

Responsibilities:
Redesign one of the flagship product marketing websites focusing on sustainability
Design imaginative and effective concepts for brand positions, campaigns, and product marketing for a broad range of internal and external audiences
Apply user-centered design principles to a highly iterative and collaborative design process
Get to know the products, clients, and audiences by conducting user research
Create, iterate, present, and deliver exceptional design solutions
Field constructive feedback without ego in the best interest of the work
Design graphic user interface elements for software
Develop UX mockups that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
Design, implement, and iterate on responsive webpages (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Ensure implementations follow web standards, accessibility, and usability best practices
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and client
Identify and troubleshoot user experience problems
Requirements:
4+ years' professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role in a B2B product marketing environment. Experience is to include an elevated design sensibility with experience in B2B product and content marketing
Experience working on large scale UX website design projects
Experience working in an inhouse agency within a corporation
Solid understanding of marketing
Up-to-date knowledge of design software
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with team members and clients
Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires focus, flexibility and patience & ingenuity
Deep experience with Figma, Jira, Asana & Slack
An eye for visual and interaction design, and have experience with HTML, CSS, Chrome DevTools, and WordPress
Experience incorporating data visualization and animation is preferred

Location: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the client's NY city office. Need to have flexibility to go into the office more than twice a week based on business need; stakeholder/ project team meetings.)
Duration: Part-time (20 hours per week), April to September 2024
Rate: $60-$65/hour, W-2 consultant of Crawford Group (Our salary ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
