Job description

Starting wage $18.91 per hour.
Job Objective
To perform inside and outside custodial duties and maintain all assigned areas in a clean, orderly, attractive, and safe condition.
Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Sweeps and cleans floors within plant and office areas; disposes of all trash, gathers recyclable materials and disposes of in proper manner, keeps areas in an orderly manner.

  1. Ensures the lunchroom is maintained in a neat and orderly condition.

  1. Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies as needed including at Tech Center and Service and Replacement job sites.

  1. Performs smaller and less time-consuming building maintenance jobs in carpentry or general repair area.

  1. Shovels snow and performs other outside maintenance duties to keep the grounds safe and attractive.

  1. Keeps Supervisor informed of any maintenance or ground problems.

  1. Keeps accurate time and job records.

  1. Maintains a good attendance record.

  1. The position is responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System which includes but not limited to significant environmental aspects, compliance obligations and environmental risks.

  1. This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS.

  1. Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required
No special training required.
Ability to work cooperatively on a regular basis with other employees.
Judgment Required
To watch for and report potential safety hazards in the plant or office.
To make sure no confidential papers or materials are lost or moved.

Working Conditions
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company's business demands.
Generally good conditions except for occasional hazards to working close to machinery. Temperature and moisture will be normal for the season and directly related to whether the work is within the plant or out of doors. There will be exposure to the irritants in cleaning products and oils and grease associated with cleaning equipment. Noise levels vary with department worked.
Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, and other protective equipment as necessary for each department in which you are exposed to hazards. All areas require normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees and no color deficiency. Hearing protection is required in certain departments but is always available.
