At a Glance:
The Maintenance Worker II is primarily responsible for performing service, repair and installation duties in plumbing, carpentry and electrical on building interiors and exteriors on all properties.

Schedule: 5:30am-2:00pm CT
Occasional Overtime required
Thanksgiving Required for all Maintenance workers
Rotating Holidays required

This position is expected to be filled in a work location that is within the states of Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Texas.
What you will do:
- Demonstrate the H&P Company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, Teamwork and Do the Right Thing
- Inspect and service heating and cooling equipment
- Change lights and make minor electrical repairs
- Assist painters and service workmen as needed
- Install doors, hardware, partition walls and repair and maintain building interior and exterior
- Order supplies and materials
- Paint and perform other minor building maintenance
- Clean and repair fountains
- Pick up trash on Utica Square grounds
- Read utility meters
- Service Retail locations on property
- Cleaning and inspecting flat roofs
What you need:
- Knowledge of ladders, broad range of power tools and hardware equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance role
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Must have a valid US Driver's License
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typical working conditions and environmental hazards, if any, associated with this type of work that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position.
The worker is exposed to atmospheric conditions, noise, vibrations, moving/mechanical parts, electric shock, high or exposed places and toxic/caustic chemicals, radiant energy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The worker is required to perform most work while standing or walking. The work is classified as medium with maximum lifting of 100 lbs. associated with the movement of containers, equipment and other tools.
