We are seeking a passionate and experienced User Researcher to join our team. The User Researcher will play a critical role in gathering insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our clients to inform the design and development of intuitive and impactful digital wealth management solutions. This individual will lead user research activities, conduct usability testing, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive user-centered design decisions that enhance the client experience and drive business growth.
- User Research Planning - Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define research objectives, hypotheses, and methodologies. Develop research plans and protocols to guide the execution of user research activities, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability testing
- User Insights Generation - Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather insights into the needs, goals, and pain points of our clients. Synthesize research findings and distill key insights to inform product strategy, design decisions, and feature prioritization
- Usability Testing - Plan, facilitate, and analyze usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of digital wealth management products and features. Identify usability issues, gather feedback from participants, and make recommendations for improvements based on user feedback and observations
- Persona Development - Develop user personas and journey maps based on research findings to create empathy and understanding of our clients' needs and behaviors. Use personas to inform design decisions and ensure that digital products are tailored to meet the needs of our target audience
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, engineering, marketing, and customer service to integrate user research insights into product development processes. Advocate for the importance of user-centered design principles and promote a user-centric culture within the organization
- Continuous Improvement - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in user research and human-centered design. Identify opportunities to enhance research methodologies, tools, and processes to improve the effectiveness and impact of user research efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting user research and usability testing in a product development environment, preferably within the financial services or wealth management industry
- Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability testing
- Proficiency in research tools and techniques such as user testing platforms, survey software, and analytics tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and generate actionable insights
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence decision-making through the use of research insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of talent across multiple US geographic markets. The base pay for this position across all US geographic markets ranges from $70,000.00/year to $90,000.00/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
