The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Used Equipment Sales Representative to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for building a customer base in your assigned territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Used Equipment Sales Representative for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Target and acquire new business
  • Identify the decision makers and key stakeholders within prospective organizations
  • Prospect for potential customers, including conducting tactful and professional phone calls
  • Conduct in-person sales presentations
  • Utilize the CRM database to record pertinent customer information
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Utilize technical support as needed to solve customer challenges
  • Communicate with mechanics, the Parts department, and customers
  • Generate opportunities within your territory by executing against your territory plan, uncovering leads for the inside sales team to quote and close

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Strong verbal communication skills required, including excellent phone communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a highly motivated self-starter
  • Confident and resilient, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
  • Maintaining a valid driver’s license is required

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 salary, plus uncapped commission.

This is an onsite role based in Houston, Texas.
