What you'll do...
The Global Technology Platform organization is a global team that supports all of Walmart (US, Sam's, and International), omni-channel technologies (in store/club, pick-up/delivery, on-line shopping) for the Fortune 1 company in the world. The Program Management Office drives the execution of the rhythms needed to achieve Platform's goals in an agile, predictable, and efficient manner. We play our part in innovating on the world's largest stage, you'll deliver customer-centric solutions for some of our most strategic operating frameworks.
As Staff Technical Program Manager for one of global teams, you'll lead and execute on a large portfolio of strategic initiatives that help support our global development community at Walmart. In our highly collaborative environment, you will work with cross functional teams building platforms and infrastructure services which enables Walmart Platform to scale. Your natural ability to build effective cross functional relationships and balance a wide range of competing demands will help ensure delivery in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with hands-on Technical Program and technical project management experience with infrastructure teams such as compute, network, and storage along with cloud technologies exposure.
You'll sweep us off our feet if...

• You have strong experience implementing and delivering data initiatives as a Technical Program Manager, Tech lead or equivalent.
• You have hands-on experience in Technical Program management building infrastructure/ environments using Scrum methodology. Building Systems (physical/ cloud/ VM's), Database (11g ,MySQl, Big Data, Hadoop), Network, San storage, monitoring.
• You have understanding and background of product development for Data Platform products or Infrastructure which includes on-premises as well as Cloud technologies (Openstack, Azure, GCP etc).
• Experience of leading teams using Agile Framework, Good command on Agile Delivery, Implementation, and Best Practices
• Hands-on experience using Jira, ServiceNow and Confluence Tool
• You are familiar with ITIL service management concepts which will help you to manage execution on the production stages.
• You're able to use metrics to improve performance.
• You're excited about solving complex challenges and are comfortable with ambiguity.
• You're customer-centric in spirit and in execution.
• You're comfortable influencing others, working with offshore technical development teams, managing numerous stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly.

You'll make an impact by:

• Collaborating with project stakeholders (product, engineering, operations) to develop and drive Infrastructure services overall goals.
• Defining frameworks and executing program roadmaps and schedules for multiple workstreams.
• Identifying and managing critical path workflows and cross-functional dependencies ; collecting and analyzing project metrics to manage initiatives and drive accountability; identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Escalating and communicating program related issues to mitigate risks.
• Owning and driving stakeholder engagements for quarterly business planning process, KPI definition, executive updates and agile practices.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of your programs and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 6+ years Technical Program management experience OR Masters and 3+ years Technical Program management experience OR 9+ years Technical Program management experience.
