Job Description/Accountabilities
Working under limited supervision, is responsible for developing and managing the execution of the global commercial and clinical supply plan based on agreed upon lead times. This is an end-to-end (make-to-order) process and this job has high sensitivity as it can have a direct impact on patient lives. Act as competent counterpart between assigned customers and various functions in order to guarantee high customer service level. Achieve operational excellence in terms of quality, cost and compliance. Flexible schedule and availability during weekends and Holidays is required when necessary.
Manage all planning and scheduling activities to execute the Global Commercial and Clinical Supply Plans.
Ensure global business guidelines are adhered to as patient reservations on capacity are made,
Ensure transparency and priorities of orders to adhere to established throughput targets.
Effectively communicate between all global stakeholders (Customer Service Center, Quality Assurance, Apheresis Operations and Global manufacturing sites)
Establish, manage and communicate the clinical and commercial demand schedule and timelines with internal and external stakeholders
Manage relationships with couriers to align schedules for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsible for order management: creation of sales order, order monitoring, order confirmations, maintain inbound and outbound deliveries, remove delivery blocks, order initiation at CMO.
Partner with KYMRIAH Customer Service Centers on site on-boarding and mock shipments. Lead the logistics activities for the mock shipments
Coordinate with cell chain support team on master data and user/support management.
Collaborate with Global Logistics and Import/Export groups to minimize potential delays in international shipments.
Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility
Maintain a proactive and close communication with customers and suppliers aligning daily business to guarantee a high customer service level at all times
Schedule, maintain, and assign manufacturing capacity as appropriate to support patient enrollment.
Advise clinical and commercial sites to ensure seamless system data entries to adhere to lead times globally.
Lead weekly scheduling meeting with cross-functional groups.
Analyze, maintain and prepare reports on key supply chain metrics.
Represent the planning and scheduling function in key supply chain launch and operational meetings.
Supply Chain Principles - strong familiarity with and understanding of Materials Management principles such as (but not limited to) Master Production Schedule, Material Resource Planning, Capacity Resource Planning, Demand Resource Planning, purchasing, distribution, import/export, logistics, etc.
Thorough understanding and ability to troubleshoot within SAP and cell chain software systems. Ability to learn/work with new technology and systems.
Proven ability to think strategically to anticipate and plan for critical needs to support planning and scheduling operational efficiencies as required.
Write/Revise supply chain procedures as needed.

Ideal Background
Bachelor of Science in Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or Operations Research preferred.
APICS certification strongly desired.
Min. 4 years planning experience in a pharmaceutical operations environment.
Experience working in a GMP environment.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and supply chain practices and software systems.
Good understanding of ERP implementation methodology
Computer literacy: Office applications (Excel, Power Point, WinWord) and Visio
Proven project management, ideally in a cross-functional project
