Job description

F1 Arcade is on a mission to create the most memorable and competitively thrilling hospitality experiences, globally. F1 Arcade is a partnership with Formula 1 that creates a next-level competitive socializing experience. It brings immersive state-of-the-art F1 racing simulation to a mass audience with outstanding food and beverage. Because the racing SIM's offer team racing, head-to-head, tournament and multiple experience levels, F1 Arcade is well positioned to cater to families, corporate events, social gatherings, and everything in between. Our first US location is set to open in 2024 in the Boston Seaport District and many more are on the horizon throughout the United States.

Initial 3 month contract with potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.

Objective:

Can you drive a brand forward and get everyone excited about the most glamourous social gaming experience to hit the USA? As the go-to person on the ground, your primary objective will be to raise awareness, turbo-charge excitement, and cultivate a strong brand presence within the Boston market. Working closely with the USA President and our Marketing team based in the UK, you will be responsible for delivering innovative marketing strategies that captivate our target audience and establishing meaningful connections. Your role will require a real understanding of the Boston landscape, impeccable organizational skills, and the ability to seamlessly translate our innovative marketing strategy into tangible results. Key Responsibilities:


1. In-Venue Marketing Coordination: Ensuring our team has everything they need to communicate perfectly and deliver incredible customer service to all our guests. Whether this is print, digital screens, signage, menus, merchandise, local events, sales collateral - big impact, quality and consistency are key!


2. Influencer Engagement: Starting fresh for the US, we need support to build an epic influencer program. Ensuring we are THE place to eat, drink and play, amongst all target
audiences. You'll help identify, reach out, and collaborate to drive advocacy and visits.


3. Partnership Support: Working with the Partnerships team to deliver any contractual obligations and support local relationships. Delivering effective communication and
activations when planned.


4. PR and Communications: Working with our agencies and partners to deliver the plans across all media channels. Sharing local insights and content to keep us relevant and
localised to the market. Creating brand-aligned copy for varioUS Marketing materials and platforms.


5. Third-Party Listings Oversight: Lead, manage and optimize all marketing third-party listings, forging strategic partnerships with each partner, maximizing visibility and
maintaining regular contact/meetings with each to ensure we are utilising our investment in each and using every available benefit as part of our package (i.e. using each and every newsletter inclusion, are correctly listed on their websites at all time, updating detail as required such as images, descriptions, wording, event support). Review these partners regularly, ensuring we are tracking ROI and making suggestions and replacements as necessary.


General Responsibilities:


1. Day-to-Day Excellence: Oversee and manage the daily marketing operations, including project management, advertising, PR, and promotional activities, to maintain consistency and impact.


2. Local Engagement: Support in neighbourhood outreach to establish a local client base.


3. PR Collaboration: Attend regular PR team meetings and support initiatives as directed.


4. Raising Brand Awareness: Elevate brand recognition through creative marketing campaigns and digital-first approaches, positioning the brand as a leading player in the
industry.


5. Event Management: Manage events in partnership with exciting collaborators such as influencers, brands, and partners to create engaging experiences for our audience.


6. Effective Marketing Strategy: Deliver and execute against a comprehensive marketing strategy, across all channels, ensuring the delivery of unique and engaging content for diverse audiences.


7. Content Management: Manage and direct photoshoots, content creators as required.


8. Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Execute ad-hoc initiatives and concepts as directed/required.


9. Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitive activities, industry news and share insights.


10. Customer First: Be the voice of our guests, listening, understanding feedback and driving excellence in all customer contacts


Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Brand Partnerships: Collaborate with key stakeholders and existing brand partners/agencies (PR, design, digital) to maximise their impact and marketing opportunities.
  • Marketing Execution: Collaborate on and execute key marketing initiatives at each venue.
  • Third-Party Listings: Ensure each venue is listed on relevant third-party sites, building relationships with partners, and negotiating deals, partnerships, and joint initiatives.
  • PR Relationship: Maintain a relationship with the PR agency on all PR-related matters where relevant.


In-Venue Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Execution: Support with the execution of the marketing plan, including across Arcade Hub, All-Venue Racing concept launch, programming, activations, watch parties, and other activities to the highest standards.
  • Event Management: Manage special events, brand events (e.g., Halloween, Christmas, NYE), influencer events, and co-hosted events in conjunction with relevant partners.
  • Brand Adherence: Ensure venues adhere to brand policies and guidelines, with regular reviews of signature promotional activities.
  • Collateral Management: Manage in-venue collateral for all venues, ensuring correct, approved content is displayed consistently.
  • Venue Team Coordination: Conduct regular meetings with the in-venue team (Ops Director, GM, and Asst Managers) to share plans, feedback and collaborate brilliantly.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a brand guardian when in the venue, ensuring all aspects related to our department and the guest experience represent our brand and values effectively.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience across all digital marketing channels and platforms.
  • Ability to create compelling content and marketing campaigns tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong community management skills - build engagement, advocacy, and audiences
  • Experience in influencer and content creator management.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • A passion for innovation and staying ahead of marketing trends and technologies.
