AddressOur client, a leading manufacturer of heavy trucks and buses, is seeking a Geometrical Architect Expert to join their growing team in Greensboro, NC!
As a Geometrical Architect Expert, you'll play a vital role in the Vehicle Engineering department. You'll be a packaging specialist, developing innovative solutions to optimize truck design and functionality. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly skilled engineer with a passion for heavy vehicles!
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Range: $55-60/hr
What's the Job?
- Develop packaging concepts and features to enhance future truck models
- Solve packaging challenges and deliver high-quality geometrical data
- Document packaging issues and assign corrective actions
- Lead weekly meetings to discuss and resolve front-end truck packaging issues
- Drive solutions for common parts across truck variations, maximizing efficiency
- Develop a long-term packaging strategy for future truck projects
- Ensure CAD models align with packaging specifications
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in commercial vehicle product development
- Strong knowledge and experience with heavy truck and bus chassis
- Expert in Creo/ProE, particularly large assembly management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail
- Bonus points if you're familiar with GWYN and KOLA.
