Position Purpose:
The U.S. Extension Campus Coordinator is responsible to operate the campus location in these three areas- well-managed, sustainable, and deep discipleship. They are to steward the location following the guidance of the Director of Faculty. The incumbent will help facilitate the student learning experience through the administration of the Charis curriculum.
Essential Duties:
- Establishes and maintains an environment supportive of the mission and vision, encouraging the development and exercise of God-honoring Kingdom principles as set forth by Charis Bible College
- Provides support to the student learning environment and ensures student handbook is followed
- Ensure the required course list and schedule guidelines are adhered to
- Responsible to stay within the guidelines of the assigned budget
- Facilitate discussion group leaders
- Host approved guest speakers
- Responsible for knowledge and adherence to the policies and procedures set by World Outreach
- Regularly communicate Charis Bible Colleges vision to students and staff
- Attendance at staff meetings and Director Conferences
- Lead one mission trip per school year
- Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of the locations long- and short-term goals and objectives
- Must be present to host all Charis on-campus events
- Participate in World Outreach directed on the job training
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Charis curriculum and instructional programs and administrative practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the goals, objectives, structure, and operations of World Outreach
- Skill in implementing new strategies and policies and procedures
- Strong leadership skills that promote honor, faith, dedication, creativity, innovation, and growth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of leaders and staff (with different ethnic and cultural backgrounds)
- Ability to speak effectively to large groups of students and staff
- Ability to understand financial data and manage resources
- Ability to work and lead a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students and staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to operate Windows-based computers with experience in Microsoft Suite Office
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions
- Must have excellent time-management skills and be capable of managing multiple tasks
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign Statement of Faith
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required
- DTP or World Outreach Training School graduate
- Charis Intern completion
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- Demonstrated administrative skills of two years or more
- Proven ministry experience of two years or more
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
