Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
Office Type: Primary and Urgent Care
Experience Level: Open to e ntry Level and Experienced
DescriptionRoom patients
Perform measuring and recording of patient's vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure & pulse
Record patient information and reason for visit in EMR system
Perform certain diagnostic tests such as EKG and assist physician with certain medical procedures, as needed
Collect, label and route specimens according to standard procedures
Prepare patient records prior to visit by ensuring that required lab results and documentation are entered in the medical record for practitioner review
Ensure all patients needs and questions are answered, as well as communicated with physician
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program with Diploma
