Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Loan Specialist at FAR Group, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing loan
applications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your
primary responsibility will be to facilitate loan origination, underwriting, and closing processes while
maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
Responsibilities:

• Evaluate loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and

adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Perform credit analysis, assessing borrowers' financial profiles, creditworthiness, and risk factors.
• Conduct thorough documentation reviews, verifying income, assets, employment history, and other

relevant information.

• Collaborate with borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders to obtain missing or additional

information necessary for loan processing.

• Prepare loan files, ensuring all required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within

designated timeframes.

• Coordinate with underwriters, appraisers, title companies, and other parties involved in the loan

process to facilitate timely and smooth loan closings.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure loan processes

align with legal and regulatory standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining

strong relationships with borrowers and internal teams.

• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the loan operations

department.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive borrower information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent work

experience may be considered).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Loan Specialist or a similar role in the lending industry.
• In-depth knowledge of loan origination, underwriting, and closing processes.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan programs, and relevant regulations (e.g., FHA,

VA, USDA, conventional loans).

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams,

borrowers, and external partners.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
• Familiarity with federal contracting and government lending programs is a plus
