Peace Healthcare at Mountain City Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Frostburg, Maryland. Our top priority is providing respectful, compassionate and exceptional care to seniors in Frostburg, and the surrounding community. We treat our residents like family from the moment you arrive. We are seeking a full time applicant, able to work primarily day shift hours, with occasional on-call availability needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
- One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
JOB SUMMARY: The Unit Manager Nurse will develop and implement the Quality Assurance Program, including on-going quality measurement/audits, monitoring and analysis, performance improvement, education, and regulatory compliance consistent with all applicable policies, procedures, standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of nursing practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to identify areas for improvement in patient care and implementing strategies for enhancement.
- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall resident satisfaction and well-being.
- Analyzing data trends to identify patterns and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Participating in educational programs to ensure staff members are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Conducting root cause analyses and developing action plans to address identified issues promptly.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.
