Position Objectives:
Directly supervise assigned locations and seasonal staff as prescribed by department procedures and management. Directly perform all admissions functions including accounting for all visitors entering zoo gates, cashiering, daily maintenance of assigned areas.
Main Functions & Responsibilities:
- To manage an assigned Admissions location in accordance with the following:
- WCS and department rules and regulations.
- Sales and customer service policies & procedures.
- Cash and accounting procedures maintaining strict cash control procedures.
- Control scheduling of seasonal help and maintain labor cost guidelines.
- Maintain systems of ordering supplies, maps and related inventory.
- Responsible to orient and train seasonal staff.
- To assist the Wildlife Conservation Society and any of its departments with events.
- Perform related tasks and duties as assigned.
