A leading tech company is seeking a UI Engineer. The successful candidate will implement complex UI screens for interactive game features including data-driven dynamic layouts, animations, and transitions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with XAML and Microsoft Blend. The company offers a great work environment!

UI EngineerPay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $45/hr
• Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Redmond, WA 98052 - Onsite)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

UI Engineer Responsibilities:

• Implement complex UI screens for interactive game features including data-driven dynamic layouts, animations, and transitions.
• Assist with troubleshooting UI artist issues with tooling and content authoring pipelines.
• Contribute to a visual library of XAML components for use in UI screens.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of technical UI artists, designers, and other developers to deliver in-game UI screens.
• Recommend improvements that help develop dependable UI content workflows through acquiring deep knowledge of our UI content data flow, tooling, and rendering techniques.
• Benchmark, debug, and optimize UI, while balancing visuals and performance.

UI EngineerQualifications:

• 2+ overall years of experience in the field.
• BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, User Interface, Art, Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience with XAML and Microsoft Blend.
• Experience shipping content with limited performance budget.
• Familiarity with C++ is beneficial but not required.
• Portfolio that demonstrates examples of problem solving and UI intuition across a variety of projects.
• Interest in accessibility and multi-platform scalable UI is preferred.
