Operates equipment to produce ultra-fine wire of various metals
Day to Day manufacturing support.
Work closely with Team Members and Production Supervisors to reduce/eliminate waste and quality issues.
Assist and conduct training as required.
Operates and adjusts machine/equipment to SOP as trained.
Follow shop packet instructions to set up machinery to manufacturer product to customer specifications and apply required labeling.
Uses measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, rulers, test equipment, scales, counters die string set-up and other gauging following prescribed procedures to meet high-quality specifications.
Documents process data and parameters as required by GMP
Identifies when process is out of spec and recognizes when to notify quality
Follow QA procedures and requirements. Identify corrective action in event of wire breaks.
String ultra-fine and fine wire through die sequence and capstan.
Cross-trained in fine Wire Drawing.
Follow safety procedures, including use of required personal protective equipment
High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Basic math (addition, subtraction and division) and assembly
Good interpersonal, communication and good documental skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Self starter with drive and enthusiasm for quality and yield improvements.
Ability to work as part of an effective team.
Must be able to distinguish color and have good depth perception.
