Acceptable education required in one of the following related areas: English, Secondary Education or greater, Communication, Journalism, TESOL, Reading, Developmental Education, Language Arts, Business, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or other related discipline.
- Conducts tutoring sessions with individual or multiple students in person and virtual environment.
- Provides constructive feedback and suggestions on student assignments.
- Reviews lab materials and evaluates usefulness of lab resources on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy of information.
- Acts as liaison with departments within area of discipline. Encourages use of lab by students through communication with faculty and development and delivery of lab orientation programs.
- Assists with initiatives aimed at improving student retention and completion.
- Participates as active member within the assigned clusters.
- Creates an engaging learning environment and enhances student confidence and interest in learning.
- Maintains an awareness of current College and department policies and guidelines.
- Maintains and enhances current knowledge of field or profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings and professional events outside of college locations, as needed.

- Associate’s degree in related discipline
- One year of related experience
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar application

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $35,363.00; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate's education and experience.
