Total Number of Openings 1 Provides knowledge and expertise in all phases of turnaround execution regarding cost and project controls. Supports clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron's practices.

The Turnaround Cost Analyst position is an integral part of the turnaround team and touches every phase of Chevron's turnaround process; long range planning and estimating, detailed planning and estimating, pre-TA, execution, and post-TA lookback. Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Turnaround Cost Analyst through 02/ 20/2024 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time Zone.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: The Cost Analyst (CA) will have cost ownership of multiple projects and will manage the cost related activities from project conception through closeout. CA needs to understand Primavera, SAP, SMART GEP, and Maximo and their interfaces with the cost programs. CA will review and provide capital vs.

expense work classifications to the project manager. CA will compile all contractor estimates to develop the Class III estimates for capital and expense projects on the turnaround events. CA will review all staffing plans with the execution team to ensure staffing is at optimum levels to support the turnarounds.

CA will also review contractor estimates to ensure adherence to contractor's rates, terms and conditions. CA will provide monthly actual, cash flow, forecasts and variance reporting for their projects. CA will work with turnaround schedulers, planners and management to review and manage headcounts during turnaround execution.

CA will provide daily cost reporting to the management team during execution. CA will document all lessons learned from all Phases of turnaround planning. CA works with contract partners to get final cost forecasts and invoicing completed as soon as possible after turnaround completion.

CA will work with others to adopt digital tools as rolled out for use and provide feedback to product owners. Required Qualifications 2-5 years relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset - willing to challenge norms, progress change, and think differently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and translate to value.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex and diverse datasets. Experience in data analysis, research, and reporting analytics. Preferred Qualifications Educational background in Construction Project Controls, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.

Ability to recognize patterns in large data sets and use quantitative and qualitative insights to develop business strategies. Previous experience with cost reporting tools like SAP, SMART GEP and Maximo. Experience building detailed budgets.

Cost forecasting experience. Power BI experience. Relocation Options: Relocationmay beconsidered.

payroll offers. The anticipated salary range for this position is$87,100 - $171,700. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
