About The Role
Do you thrive being a part of a team? This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is familiar with trust accounts and accounting principles and is looking to kick-start their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment. While we are open to considering entry-level candidates, previous experience in trust accounts and accounting is preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in managing trust accounts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the setting up and releasing of wires.
- Accounts receivable and payable support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes related to trust accounts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide assistance and support on various accounting projects.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and identify areas for process improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
What You'll Bring:
- Familiarity with trust accounts and knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in TRUST ACCOUNTING or related field (preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates)
