Trucking Company Dispatcher

Eastern Drayage is one of the leading and fastest growing container transportation companies on the East Coast..

Our company with a fleet of close to 100 trucks across multiple ports specializes in transporting containers via truck in and out of Container Terminals.

Our business is growing and we are looking for highly motivated individuals that will grow with us. With that, we currently seek a full time Dispatcher with at least 2 years experience in the trucking (ports) industry for our Kearny NJ office.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess the ability to multi-task, be a team player, work very well with others and great at problem solving on their own. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual seeking a fast paced environment

Here are some of the tasks that will be handled by the dispatcher:

• Assignment of deliveries to drivers
• Scheduling appointments/follow ups with clients
• Constant tracking of drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries
• Phone call and email communications with clients and drivers
• Tracking equipment and updating in our own custom portal
• Tracking and tracing container shipments via terminal portal
• General office duties Emails, Phone Calls etc.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
