We always hold true to our motto, Quality Products, Exceptional Service. We are looking for a self-motivated Truck Mechanic/Diesel Technician to join our team here at Taylor Metal Products. This role works on site at our Salem office to provide repairs and inspections for our Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing annual inspections
- Electric repairs on trucks and trailers
- Front & rear suspension repairs
- Engine & clutch repairs
- Brake work
- Trailer repairs
- Forklift Repairs
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, reach, kneel, climb, etc.
- Must have availability for long hours and on call work if needed

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years college education in the field
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Diagnostic skills using a scan tool
- Welding & metal fabrication
- Propane fuel systems knowledge preferred
- Simple hydraulic knowledge preferred
- Simple industrial electrical knowledge preferred
