Looking for a Diesel Mechanic

- Welding metal with SMAW (Stick Weld) and Wire Fed and Fabrication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and small engine
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines, small gas engines, hydraulic systems, and wiring systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition
- Repair or replace faulty parts
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Familiarity with heavy machinery, equipment, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to use power tools and operate a forklift safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Monday - Friday 8 hour day Shift (overtime is Possible)
Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
Driver's License (Required)
BYOT (Bring Your Own Tools)
