Shifts Available:
A) Grave-shift 2200 - 0600, B) 0600-1400, C) 1400-0600

Security Officer Summary:
Conducts access control assessments of truckers at entry points to determine if client entry compliance is being met. Performs tasks related to access by checking/logging trucker IDs, scanning paperwork, accurately logging data into computer system and ensure 100% accuracy with all paperwork and processes before allowing trucks to exit outbound.

Security Officer Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to possess a valid California Guard License
• Must be comfortable with discussing and upholding client entrance requirements (restrictions apply).
• Must have a minimum of three year verifiable and successful security experience
• Six (6) months or more experience involving direct customer interaction; Truck Gate experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Escalation of issues and or incidents to supervisor/client management
• Maintain required certifications, licensing and training to achieve professional competency as appropriate for the position
• Complete required shift logs and reports; compliance with site post orders and client policies and procedures
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
