Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities
TANKER LOADING: Check incoming empty tankers for seals and document compliance and proper sealing after full, Inspect tankers prior to load, set-up hoses and lines to load tankers, document information and sample accordingly. Report deviation in a timely manner to his supervisor. Ensure needed tankers are in place and ready for continuous operation. Communicate with Q.A. and USDA for compliance. Monitor drip sampler, manually draw appropriate samples, and label correctly. Monitor these functions.
TANKER UNLOADING: This operation is similar to Tanker load but it happens backward.
BLENDING: Assist this operation, carrying drum and buckets of flavor pack. Maintain accurate records. Mix/use cleaning solutions.
DRUM FILLING: handling of empty and full drums, bagging liners into the empty drums, set up/operation of drums scale, tying liners and lidding drums, operating hoist to palletize full drums and operating forklift (if licensed). Keep work area and equipment clean at all times.
VESSEL CONNECTION/DISCONNECTION: Work in-group to secure and tie the vessel at the dock, operating forklift (if licensed), assemble/disassemble all the apparatus to connect/disconnect 8 inches hoses. Cleaning sample bottle to be used by USDA. Rotating shifts is applicable and vessel is moored. Demonstrate good attendance. Work 8 hour day with extended hours as needed.

Education Requirements:Minimum level of formal education that is required to perform this job satisfactorily.
High School Diploma or GED
Vocational School or some college courses
Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience
Knowledge and skill equivalent to completion of high school. Ability to perform routine, repetitive movements. Understand storage tanks, pumps, valving and piping configurations at Tank Farm and follow set-up for tank/valve/line. Requires moving materials weighing over 50 pounds and lifting from floor and waist levels. Ability to understand, record and communicate product codes, descriptions, times, seal numbers and warehouse/shipping information. Requires bending and twisting at the waist, climbing, pulling objects with force and pushing objects weighing over 40 pounds.
