Job Highlights

Helps to achieve maximum productivity within the plant by loading and unloading bulk materials.

Complete relevant paperwork, conducts inspections, and maintains records – utilize SAP.

Implements safe work practices including permit procedures, use of personal protective equipment, housekeeping, etc. Reports unsafe act or condition promptly.

Demonstrates initiative. Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve issues. Works with a minimum of supervision. Assists and trains other in the department as necessary.

Participates in implementing team decisions, initiatives, etc.

Attends plant and departmental training and meeting as required.

Familiar with, and able to implement, incident response procedures.

Must be able to read and follow standard operating procedure as well as follow regulatory requirements including OSHA, NJDEP, etc., related to the position.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or GED or equivalent.

Three to five years of experience, preferrably in a chemical/manufacturing environment.

Must be able to follow prodecures and phases of the operations.

Experience working with SAP, DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and Microsoft Excel.
