Job Overview:
As a Treasury Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions executed on behalf of FirstService clients. You will also provide training, supervision, direction, and leadership of Treasury and Accounts Receivable Coordinators.
This is a hybridopportunity based out of our suburban corporate office in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Accounts Receivable and Treasury Coordinators. Delegating responsibilities to a hybrid team. Provide coaching, training, and continuous professional development support to associates.
- Maintain knowledge of current policies and procedures, ensuring departmental compliance with all regulations.
- Opening and closing operating bank accounts and excess operating accounts.
- Monitoring Banking Analysis to ensure completion in a timely and accurate manner. Recording monthly bank statements and tracking CD expirations.
- Distributing in-house Avid Check Runs and in-house rush Checks.
- Processing Cook County Property Taxes for all associations.
- Maintaining the Purchase Card (P-Card) Program for FirstService Illinois associates. Open and close P-Card accounts as required and distribute monthly statements to cardholders. Verify documentation is submitted by cardholders in accordance with standard procedures.
- Respond to all questions or concerns regarding the Purchase Card Program.
- Assist in compiling year-end accounting records to be submitted to audit firms.
- Assist and guide Community Association Managers by answering questions regarding banking processes and other related matters.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or equivalent education.
- 5 years' experience in a supervisory role, or a combination of progressive education and work experience.
- Experience in Treasury Management and Billing Management strongly preferred.
- Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
- Intermediate experience working with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
- Must possess a growth mindset and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
