We are currently seeking an IT Treasury Management and Payment Systems Director; you will drive delivery for digital technologies such as Commercial Online Banking and Payments platform in alignment with a multi-year Tech Roadmap for Commercial Line of Business. With guidance from Line of Business, Enterprise PMO, and Information security you will work across functions –Architecture, Data, Stakeholders – to develop strategic vision and implementation roadmap.
This role will also have a dotted line into managing Marketing Technology platforms such as our public facing website, customer data platforms.
You will manage vendors, and a growing development and delivery team of four team members and will stay ahead of changing technologies. This position is dynamic and challenging. We are looking for someone to be a leader, collaborator, and executor.
Office will be based at either 8750 West Bryn Mawr, Chicago IL (near Roesmont), Joliet IL Tinley Park, IL, Eden Prairie, MN, or Evansville Illinois.
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable for two primary functions – Commercial and Treasury Management platform and Marketing technologies.
- For Commercial and Treasury Management
- Manage and own overall Treasury Management (Commercial/Corporate Online Banking) and Payments platform from IT standpoint with a growing team of Application and Business Analysts
- Manage the Commercial LOB development team as decisions are made on the next generation platform for Treasury and Payments platform
- Manage and build IT roadmaps aligned with Business strategies for the payments and Treasury platform
- For Marketing
- Assist the Marketing LOB with their technology needs in their content management, salesforce marketing cloud and data platforms.
- Requires navigating through different technology organizations to fulfill the needs of the Marketing LOB.
- Manage and build IT roadmaps aligned with Business strategies for the marketing LOB
- Create and foster an environment for overall best-in-class IT operations including incident management, requests, production releases.
- Create best-in-class ways of solving technical problems and not be afraid of challenging the status quo.
- Build the development team ground-up by attracting and hiring talent as we scale to modernize our platforms.
- Implement best practices for DevOps, environment management and integrity, security, pipeline management, code integrity, compliance, release management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 10 - 15+ years’ experience in IT in Banking or Financial Services
- Highly knowledgeable in Commercial Banking technology platforms especially Treasury management (commercial online banking) and payments ecosystem.
- Deep understanding and appreciation of evolving Payments landscape and fintech solutions for ACH, Wires, FedNow, Lockbox, RDC, Integrated payables/receivables, and Commercial cards.
- Experience working on Martech (Marketing technologies) especially public facing domains, data systems and customer data platforms.
- Preferred experience working in Core banking systems such as Fiserv and FIS.
- Outstanding presentation, written, verbal communication skills working with line of business executive stakeholders
- Experience facilitating cross-functional teams to bring consensus on common solutions.
- Position will require the need to travel to various ONB locations or vendor locations for business.
