Team Overview
We are currently looking for an individual to join the Treasury COO and Governance organization as a Senior Financial analyst supporting resource management for the global Treasury organization.
The Treasury organization has responsibility for core treasury functions including funding the company, maintaining a strong capital and liquidity position, and managing interest rate risk for the enterprise. We enable and execute well-informed management decisions that optimize earnings, capital and liquidity for the benefit of our stakeholders.
The Treasury COO team is responsible for integrated reporting and analysis for Treasury’s expense base. This includes financial forecasting, planning, and analytical support, preparation of monthly performance packages for executive management, facilitating month-end close, managing the allocations process and stakeholder engagement. The team focuses on driving a culture of prudent expense management and partners closely with business managers and senior leaders throughout the Treasury and CFO organization.
Role Responsibilities
Partner across the Treasury organization and across CFO to research, analyze, report, and forecast Treasury’s expense base and personnel resources.
Facilitate the month end close process, including analytical research and post close reporting.
Support LOB and Finance partners by analyzing and reporting Treasury P&L with a focus on expenses and headcount.
Monitor and research P&L activity for variances to plan and forecast and work with finance partners, LOB, and other support partners to understand and explain drivers.
Prepare executive review materials and related reporting in support of Treasury expense allocations.
Facilitate expense save opportunities through partnering with the Treasury business, helping to drive a culture of prudent expense management throughout the organization.
Requirements include strong analytical skills, attention to detail, Excel and eLedger skills, and ability to navigate the organization
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
At least 2-5 years of experience in expense management or Finance role
Proficient with SAP/eLedger, demonstrates advanced excel skills
Self-starter, motivated to learn and grow in role
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
Ability to review/challenge and improve existing processes
Trusted business partner with proven ability to work across teams.
