Requisition Summary
This position in PACCAR Financial Treasury provides analysis and support to PACCAR's global finance companies. We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent critical thinking skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and a passion for corporate finance and the financial markets. PACCAR Financial Services provides wholesale and retail financing and leasing for Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF trucks with worldwide assets of $19.6 billion.
The position is located in Bellevue, WA.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily cash management for the U.S. and Canadian finance companies. Serve as backup for Corporate Treasury Analyst.
- Perform analysis in various Treasury areas in support of PACCAR's financial services companies. Analysis topics include asset / liability management, cost of funds development, other borrowing costs, counterparty exposure and the derivatives portfolio.
- Present asset / liability analysis and funding recommendations to funding committee.
- Manage inter-company loans, which include origination, documentation and month-end reporting.
- Lead the administration, annual forecasting and tracking of bank fees.
- Responsible for various periodic reporting.
- Perform ad hoc projects to update the cash management infrastructure for the finance companies and other PACCAR entities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related area required. MBA and CTP certification is desired. Interest in CFA certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of finance or treasury principles, systems and databases.
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of financial statements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of FAS133 / ASC 815 derivatives accounting principles is a plus.
- Experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
- Experience with Bloomberg information system is a plus.
