As a Treasury Analyst with Realty Income, you will be responsible for working with the Treasury team to promote the company's treasury strategy and daily treasury transactions. The Treasury Analyst is also responsible for supporting the Manager, Treasury, in daily cash management activities. The Treasury Analyst will exhibit the teamwork needed to further advance the automation and digitization of cash processes to scale cash operations.

The base salary for this role is in the range of $62,290 - $89,103. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.

As a Treasury Analyst with Realty Income, you will be responsible for working with the Treasury team to promote the company's treasury strategy and daily treasury transactions. The Treasury Analyst is also responsible for supporting the Manager, Treasury, in daily cash management activities. The Treasury Analyst will exhibit the teamwork needed to further advance the automation and digitization of cash processes to scale cash operations.
What you will be working on:
Treasury Operations
- Update the cash forecast used for daily cash management by capturing funding needs of the company.
- Assist in the implementation of new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations.
- Act as a liaison between Treasury and Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll, as necessary, to investigate and resolve day-to-day inquiries.
- Assist with opening and closing company bank accounts both domestically and internationally, including coordinating the preparation of necessary KYC documentation. Supervise daily borrowing in the US and international markets. Execute borrowing letters on our domestic and multi-currency credit facility as needed.
- Work with wire team to set-up wires and ensure that necessary daily wires are sent out on a timely basis.
- Act as a company administrator on our interactive bank portals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies. Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for treasury operations.
General Ledger
- Coordinate with accounting team to ensure that treasury-related journal entries for various bank, money market cash accounts, etc. are recorded appropriately.
Financial Reporting
- Involvement in the accumulation of data and preparation of schedules that support SEC financial reporting financials, footnotes, capital market activities and press releases.
Other Responsibilities
- Involvement in the streamlining of internal processes to gain efficiencies and maintain sound internal controls.
- Special projects, including performing treasury research and formally documenting the conclusions of management.
- System and software implementation and upgrade testing, including Yardi, as applicable.
- Assist in the evaluation of software needs for the Treasury department to troubleshoot potential gaps and ensure that adequate tools are maintained for the group.
- Working with Manager, Treasury daily to implement cash management strategies.
- Working with Treasury department to initiate and record key transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Working with external auditors to answer questions related to treasury activities.
What you need to be successful:
- 3+ years relevant work experience.
- BS in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
- Ability to execute in ambiguous situations and take the lead without explicit instructions.
- Ability to handle large volume of work, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience with Yardi, Yardi PayScan, JP Morgan Access, Wells Fargo CEO and Bank of America CashPro preferred.
- Excellent financial acumen.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent coordination, organizational and administrative skills.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, reliable and flexible.
- Driven and self-motivated; ability to work independently without supervision.
- Excellent PC skills required, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
