Position: Travelling Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant
Location: Mesa, Arizona, with travel to remote sites in Fountain Hills, Prescott, and Coolidge, Arizona.
Description:
We are seeking a full-time Travelling Medical Scribe to support a busy Interventional Cardiologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for accompanying the cardiologist to remote locations, including Fountain Hills, Prescott, and Coolidge, to assist with medical documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in various settings and gain valuable experience in the field of cardiology.
We are also willing to cross-train to do back office duties for the interested candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters and procedures in real time.
- Ensure timely completion of medical records.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to optimize the cardiologist's workflow.
- Document every encounter done by the cardiologist.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical scribe is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Dr Sharifi is Director of Arizona Cardiovascular Consultants & Vein Clinic. He is an Adjunct Professor at A.T.Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Sharifi is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Vascular Medicine, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology.
