Traveling Respiratory Technician

We are seeking a traveling Respiratory Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for traveling to client locations to perform occupational respiratory function and respiratory fit tests.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Extensive year-round travel, throughout the continental US.
• Drive to client testing sites.
• Explains pulmonary function and respiratory fit testing procedures to the patient.
• Explains and demonstrates to patients the nature of the test they will be performing; positions and observes patient during the actual test.
• Administers pulmonary function testing, adhering to NIOSH/OSHA guidelines.
• Operates, monitors, and obtains data from pulmonary equipment.
• Observes and records readings and conveys findings of tests and analyses to physician for interpretation.
• Calibrates, operates, records, and obtains data from pulmonary function and respirator fit equipment.

• Performs qualitative and quantitative respirator fit tests ensuring seal, compatibility and stability.
• Maintains knowledge of current NIOSH and OSHA rules/regulations/standards regarding pulmonary function and respirator fit testing.

Qualifications:

• 
  Current driver's license
• Company will train and pay for certification
• Customer service experience
