We are looking for a motivated Certified Medical Assistant to work on-site at a Residential Treatment Center in the Northern Phoenix (85085, 85086) area. Work schedule is Monday-Friday with flexible hours (7-3, 8-4, 9-5, 10-6)
The preferred candidate will have experience with EMR EClinicalWorks, and experience with individuals struggling with substance use or mental health.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to RTC homes in the area to schedule patient appointments, collect urine drug screens, and complete TB skin testing.
- Urine Drug screens will be dipped for rapid results at our office and results will be reported to RTC staff and then sent out to lab for confirmation
- Employee will be responsible for creating a schedule on which houses they will report to each day (10 houses total, rotating daily on which houses to report to)
Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR certification REQUIRED
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in taking accurate vital signs and performing basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical coding (Eclinicalworks preferred AND a plus)
- Certified Medical Assistant certification REQUIRED, Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card REQUIRED
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
