SalaryDays/Hours: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work. Working hours are between 7am-5pm.
This role requires travel required through the East Coast. We offer Per-Diem which includes mileage reimbursement and hotel accommodations.
Pay: $28-$33/hr
What is the Job?
Our Equipment Operators work on remediation projects throughout the East Coast. Jobs are typically done for a few weeks or a month at a time. The Equipment Operator safely operates various light and Heavy Equipment in support of activities related to field remediation.
You will regularly:
- Operates Heavy Equipment such as an excavator, bulldozer, loader and/or backhoe
- Perform physically demanding tasks
- Spill response
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping
- Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times
What you need to apply
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper required
- Must have appropriate operator’s licenses for equipment; Hydraulic License a plus
- Knowledge and use of light and Heavy Equipment operation
- Comfort wearing a respirator as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed
